I messed up last time and my comment got cut off....oh, well.... 1. Stunning...I
could never write as well as this, no matter how I tried...guess I'd better
learn how to draw.... 2. It looks like I'll have to alter my "Tsunami absorbs
Sasami" fic a bit....oh, well... 3. One of the first fanfics I ever read,
and still one of the best. 4. Well, I am trying to get on every reviewer's
good side...but this fic is still pretty cool... 5. Wow. This author and
Ms. Eagle should team up sometime...an SI I can't hate...amazing... 6. What's

Favorite Tenchi FF #2: "I've Forgotten"
"A Startica Song" is a nicely crafted adaptation of the classic "A Christmas
Carol" tale, with a nice, even mix of humor and drama. It is very well written,
and features very little to complain about. "I've Forgotten" is a rather
original work; certainly the first fic of its type I've read, and it was
a very fun read. I found myself wondering, near the end, what the outcome
was going to be; I wasn't certain what the author was going to do in the
end. Unpredictability on that scale is a very good thing. Again, this was
very well written, and the only thing I could find to complain about it is
that Tenchi's amnesia was never really satisfactorily explained."

First of all I'd like to say that not all the fanfics I would have liked
to vote for are here. Timeless pieces like Aikan Muyo deserve recognition
too. I'd also like to mention Mirai Muyo!, a great crossover fic. To those
of you who weren't mentioned, 'm sorry. But on a lighter note, Confess to
You is a touching and original story and has afixed itself to first place
in my book. Ryoko's Love is the classic Ryoko gets Tenchi fic with a nice
original flare to it. Happy Birthday Ryoko! is a fairly new ic but grabbed
my attention immediatly (btw, Ryoko's b-day is August 23!!!!!) and I enjoyed
the writing style immensly. The Forgotten Years was an excellent explaination
to the years of Ryoko's growth and how Washu did indeed love her "Little
Ryoko". I' e Forgotten is a fresh view on how not any of the Masaki gorls
has to get Tenchi and that they can learn to accept it. The Knife Inside
of Me is very touching display of Noboyuki's love for Achika but I would
also like to see Tenchi's love for Ryoko expr ssed better. A simple "I love
her." isn't really that deep. Anyway, to wrap up, I'd like to give
congratulations to all those hardworking fanfic writers out there, kee up
the good work! I'd also like to give my thanks to GenSao for this terrific
site! Remember to vote people!

As you can tell from my choices, I'm a huge fan of Literary Eagle, THE goddess
of Tenchi Fanfics. As to my specific choices: (1) Incredibly powerful and
moving. Please have part five finished soon, Lita! (2) The strongest study
of the relationship betw en our favorite trio. Please have part 12 finished
soon, Happosai! (3) If you never thought that Sasami could be a menacing
character, you must read "Enviable Destiny." (4) This is based on another
fanfic universe ("Ryoko's Love") but easily surpasses he original. Please
start with part 2 soon, Michael! (5) It's amazing what this fic does in only
two pages. A must-read for all fans of a certain Juraian princess. (6) This
fic probably maintains the spirit of the OAVs (romantic comedy mixed with
dram and action) better than any fic in the archive. Plus, it's complete!

First off I would like to lodge a complaint. This will be very similar to
what was posted on the reviews page. ARE WE TENCHI FANFIC WRTIERS PEOPLE???
CAN WE NOT PUT OUT QUALITY WORK? ARE WE SO SATISFIED WITH THINGS LIKE SHIN
TENCHI AND NO 3RD OVA THAT WE MUST PUT OUT SIMILAR WORK? HAVE WE SUNK TO
THE DEAPTHS OF RANMA FANFICTION? ARE WE NOT ABOVE ALL OF THIS? C'mon people...the
amount of really bad fanfics has increased geometrically, though there have
been the occasional good one (such as those list d above...there are a few
others) for the most part we have been getting really bad ones. Alright,
now for the fics. Enviable Destiny...you typical Sasami fanboys need to read
this...AND CRY TO YOUR MOMMIES! For this is exactly what you would have Sasa
i be, for her to even think about what she did in this fic...and quite a
lot of yours. The Villains Crusade, this one has the potential for some serious
comedy/drama. Here, let me give you a hint: Kagato and Pixy Misa Team up.
^_^ Aikan Muyo...read my review of it. heh. For the Greater Good, though
not on Gen's page, this fic has the potential for a stellar scope that even
I am in awe of. ^_^ Sasami's Lemony Revenge...I have really wanted to do
this myself for awhile. ^_- As for the last...Read this but only if you are
in an area that doesn't mind long and hard laughter. ^_^ 'Til Next Time!

I choose these because they were all packed with either lots of action or
scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat and wonder whats going to happen
next. They were good because the authors were very very original about their
ideas and I think thats what atributed to me liking the stories.

Whew! It gets harder and harder to decide what to vote for with each new
season! (BTW, they're not in any particular order... it's hard enough to
choose which fics to vote for, let alone rank them!) There are very few Ayeka
fics, and even fewer good on s. The "Dark Juraian", "Always Be True to Your
Heart", and "The Sorrows of a Princess" are some of the best. Yeah, I know
that I'm a Ryoko fan, but let poor Ayeka have her day in the sun! "The Tenchi
Chronicles" is as moving as "Tenchi Muyo TV: Season " is hilarious; they're
both good reads no matter who your favorite character is. As for "Heaven
and Eternity", it makes for a cool continuation of the Tenchi saga... and
the author is pretty cool, too. ^_~

This story is BY FAR the best I've seen yet. The only thing lacking is that
the final chapter seems somewhat incomplete. Oh, and another thing. I hope
you all enjoy "No Need For Japan", I've finished the story and I'm in the
process of uploading chapters 7-9. So don't worry those who have read it
